BarkPark is a hub for dogs and their accessories, addressing the challenges of cohabitation in urban living. As more people live in smaller apartments, pet owners must constantly negotiate limited space, competing needs, and the presence of dog-related objects such as beds, crates, and accessories. These items are often static, bulky, and designed without consideration for everyday human movement or the natural behavior of dogs, leading to cluttered environments and frequent spatial conflict. Dogs tend to follow their owners throughout the home, yet their designated spaces remain fixed, creating a disconnect between how pets behave and how their environments are organized.

BarkPark addresses this challenge by introducing a flexible furniture system centered around a movable dog bed and an integrated storage unit. This system allows dog spaces to move with users throughout the home, keeping pets close while giving dogs a place, set by the human, out of the way. By combining mobility, storage, and furniture integration, BarkPark supports both human routines and dog behavior, transforming how shared spaces are used.
