Have You Eaten? begins with a simple question that many people use to show care. I was interested in how a phrase like this can carry warmth without needing a long conversation. In everyday life, people often want to check in with each other, but they may be busy, tired, or unsure how to start. Because of that, care is not always expressed through direct or meaningful dialogue. Sometimes it appears in much smaller ways.

This project explores how that kind of quiet care can be translated into a digital experience. Through gentle notifications, simple interactions, and low-pressure meal check-ins, Have You Eaten? creates a way for people to stay connected without the expectation of constant response. Rather than focusing on efficiency or productivity, the project looks at how digital communication can support small, everyday gestures of emotional presence.
